Drops of Poetry

There is a really wonderful poetry community at The Poet Sanctuary that I highly recommend. On this site they have a little Create A Poem thing where they place a list of random words each month. You then drag and drop words to try to form a poem - sort of like refrigerator magnet poetry. I figured it might be a good exercise so I'll add my efforts generated this way here.

Silver ribbon
streaming captive
of snow blind woods

Shimmering rage
sprays the trees
slick, shining markings

Summer arrives,
unfettered beast
cuts ghost white fields

then singing
charms rich brown
and noble green.

Pine and holly
giggle good-bye
to ice's envy.
